Voicely Text Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Voicely Text, operated by Gozar Productions LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the Bot, you agree to these Terms. If you act for a Discord server or organization, you represent that you may bind it to these Terms.
The Service
Voicely Text converts eligible Discord messages into generated speech and plays it in a voice channel. The Bot may process message text, mentions, display names or configured nicknames, and voice preferences through Discord and Google-hosted text-to-speech endpoints.
Generated speech may be delayed, unavailable, incorrectly pronounced, or different from what a user expects. The Service is not appropriate for emergency, safety-critical, medical, legal, or other high-risk communications.
Eligibility and Responsibility
You must meet Discord's minimum age for your country and comply with Discord's terms, community rules, and applicable law.
Server administrators are responsible for:
- granting appropriate Bot permissions;
- choosing server defaults and administrator roles; and
- informing their community about text-to-speech processing where required.
You are responsible for message text and nicknames you cause the Bot to process. You may not use the Bot to:
- harass, threaten, or deceptively impersonate anyone;
- disclose private information without authorization;
- infringe intellectual-property or other rights;
- generate unlawful content or spam;
- evade access, rate, or security controls;
- exploit vulnerabilities or impose unreasonable load; or
- interfere with the Service or others.
Privacy, Content, and Third Parties
Our processing is described in the Voicely Text Privacy Policy. Text submitted for speech is sent to Google-hosted endpoints and is also handled through Discord. Those providers have their own terms and policies.
You retain rights in content you submit and grant us a limited permission to receive, modify as needed for pronunciation, transmit, generate audio from, play, and temporarily store that content only to operate, secure, and support the Service. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed for the content you submit.
We and our licensors retain rights in the Bot and branding. These Terms give you a limited, revocable, non-transferable right to use the Service. Feedback may be used without restriction or compensation.
Availability, Changes, and Suspension
The Bot is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We may change, rate-limit, suspend, or discontinue it. We may restrict access for security, legal compliance, abuse prevention, provider restrictions, or violations of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and remove the Bot if authorized.
Disclaimers and Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not promise uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation or accurate pronunciation.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Gozar Productions LLC and its members, employees, and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost data, reputational harm, or business interruption. Our total liability for claims relating to the free Service will not exceed USD $100. These limits do not exclude liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing Law and Changes
Arizona law governs these Terms, excluding conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory local law applies. Before filing a claim, contact us and allow 30 days for informal resolution. Courts with jurisdiction in Arizona will be the exclusive venue where legally permitted.
If a provision is unenforceable, the remainder remains effective. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. We may update these Terms by posting a revised version and date. Material changes apply prospectively with notice where required; continued use after they take effect means acceptance to the extent permitted by law.
