Voicely Role Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 23, 2026
Gozar Productions LLC ("Gozar Productions," "we," "us," or "our") operates Voicely Role, a Discord bot that posts configured notifications when voice channels reach a chosen participation threshold.
Information We Process and Store
Voicely Role processes the following information supplied by Discord:
- Identifiers: server, watched-channel, destination-channel, role, message, and—when a user is excluded from counts—user IDs;
- Voice-state events: when members join, leave, or move between configured voice channels;
- Member information: whether a participant is a person or a bot and whether the participant is excluded from counts; and
- Command interactions: configuration commands and selections submitted by authorized administrators.
Voicely Role observes voice-channel participation, but does not receive or record the audio spoken there.
The Bot stores:
- server, watched-channel, destination-channel, and role IDs;
- user IDs that an administrator excludes from participant counts;
- administrator-role IDs;
- notification names, thresholds, side-chat choices, and custom active/ended message templates; and
- sent-message IDs and trigger state used to update messages and prevent duplicates.
We do not intentionally store usernames, display names, ordinary message content, voice recordings, email addresses, payment information, IP addresses, or browser/device information.
Operational logs may contain server, channel, notification, or error identifiers needed to diagnose failures.
Uses and Sharing
We use information to:
- count eligible participants in configured voice channels;
- send, update, or end notification messages;
- apply administrator-role and excluded-user settings;
- prevent duplicate notifications; and
- maintain security and troubleshoot the Service.
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
Voicely Role operates through Discord, which processes commands and messages under Discord's Privacy Policy. Stored configurations are not sent to advertising or analytics providers. We may disclose limited information when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect users, the Service, or our rights.
Retention and Deletion
- Configuration: retained while the Bot is installed unless an authorized administrator changes or removes it.
- Individual records: deleted when an authorized administrator removes them.
- Server removal: when Discord notifies the Bot that it was removed, the active database deletes that server's configurations, administrator roles, excluded-user IDs, message IDs, and trigger state.
- Temporary memory: cleared when no longer needed or when the Bot restarts.
- Backups: if any, may remain for a limited period before being overwritten.
To request access, correction, or deletion, email [email protected] with the relevant server or user ID and enough information to verify your authority. Limited records may be retained for legal compliance, security, or dispute resolution.
Security, Children, and International Processing
We use reasonable access controls and data-minimization practices, but no online service is completely secure. Voicely Role is a general-audience service, is not directed to children under 13, and requires users to meet Discord's minimum age for their country. Information may be processed in the United States and wherever Discord operates.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or object to certain processing. We respond to verified requests as required by applicable law.
Changes and Contact
We may update this policy when the Bot or applicable requirements change. Questions and privacy requests may be sent to [email protected] or through the official support server.
